Concours International Olivier Messiaen

Arts en Isère Dauphiné Alpes (AIDA) nous informe qu’en raison d’un nombre insuffisant de candidats pour l’édition 2024 du Concours International Olivier Messiaen, l’équipe du Concours a pris la décision de reporter l’événement qui devait se tenir du 22 au 26 octobre à l’Auditorium de Lyon.

The organ in brief

Built for the 1878 World Fair and the Trocadéro concert hall in Paris, this monumental instrument (82 stops and 6,500 pipes) was the “showpiece” of the most renowned organ builder of the time, Aristide Cavaillé-Coll.
